SADLY OUR DOLPHINS GET INTO FAR MORE TROUBLE THAN MOST PEOPLE REALISE
Project 2
Almost a third of our dolphins have stranded, some many times over. Many stranded unseen without help coming and have died needless deaths. We have been fundraising for monitoring cameras to overlook the worst stranding hotspots
which will allow for faster rescue responses. This could potentially save many dolphins
We are thrilled to say we have reached our fundraising total ! Big thanks to all who donated.
Thank you to the major partners in the project
DBCA, Peel Harvey Catchment Council, The Rotary Club of Mandurah and City of Mandurah.
Thank you to Peel Preservation Group Inc for sponsoring our fundraising and Wendy Jackson.
Fundraising for the cameras is now closed. It is anticipated the cameras will be fully installed by the end of 2022
