Every year Mandurah is blessed to have newborn dolphins in our inland waters. Please give the mothers and their calves extra space and slow down in the waterways to protect them

Andrew

Andrew a estimated 2 month old male calf was found stranded alone very early morning. How long he had been there was unknown. Frantic attempts followed for 24 hours to find his mother but were sadly unsuccessful. Unfortunately Andrew grew weaker overnight and a difficult decision was made by Dpaw. A baby this young is unable to survive without it's mother, being completely dependant on her for food and protection. There are no rescue/rehabiliation centres for dolphins in WA.
